and , our intrepid on-site RootsTech reporters, took on a dive into the Expo hall. Today I’ve shared one of the clips from their series.Live Sessions, Full Recordings
Bill Moore of
Thank you
, , , and many others for tuning into my live video with !Last week Bill shared the story of his grandmother, Sarah Ellen “Marney” Ingham Boardman whom he mentions in our talk and the story of her Quaker roots and the little cap she wore in the garden. You won’t want to miss the one about Diamond Jim Brady either. We then dive into a discussion of the amazing tools highlighted in the conference keynotes.
Kyla Bayang of
Kyla is indeed one of our most RootsTech-experienced participants on the Ride Along. In our recording she shares her booth ribbons and subtle strategies for cousin connections. You also won’t want to miss her daily series of posts for RootsTech Week. Truly, where does she find the time?
You won’t want to miss her posts.
Many thanks to our live chat participants. It’s pretty much impossible to catch all your names as they fly by, but you see the joy it brings.
Snatched from the exhibit hall!
Our recording today includes a clip of show-floor interviews by the dynamic duo of my Mission: Genealogy co-founder,
and ace reporter, . Today’s clip features LaJoy Y. Mosby, president of the Afro-American American Historical and Genealogical Society. This fabulous organization has experts to help families research their ancestors stories, including those who fought in every national conflict since the founding of the republic. It’s hard, as LaJoy put it, to understand African-American genealogy without understanding American history.
I’ll have a few more snippets from Robin & Lori’s excellent adventure in the expo hall tomorrow Stay tuned for more tomorrow and next week when Robin’s Genealogy Matters’ GenStack explore the show floor.
Those of us on the Ride Along can’t be there, but we can tap through the next best thing. Enjoy.
