An interesting post. I may end up doing the same myself, but I don't plan to go with the A.I. text to voice, and my posts/newsletter issues are pretty long, so it could take a while to do that.

Thank you. I think I might try this, as the AI text to voice is not available for all publications and mine is one of the ones that doesn't have it. I keep asking support why but it just repeats that Substack is still rolling it out and not everyone gets it. Anyway, I really dislike the AI voices.

Thanks Deborah. A great tip - especially for people who want to record their own voiceovers. I like hearing people's posts read in their own voices but I am not sure about recording my own. I suspect my NZ accent wouldn't necessarily help people to know what I am talking about!

It is interesting how Substack has the play button for some publications and not for others. I have it on my main publication but not on my second one. I am using Victoria. I agree it is a great way to catch up with what people are writing if you are on the move.
