I love the idea of thr "clubhouse". We can learn so much from others coming from different directions but working in the same mission. And no question that we can inspire each other. In the open Q & A format I learn answers to questions I didn't even know I had. Thanks!!🧡💡💡💡

It seems like the clubhouse should be up in a tree, right? A, uh... treehouse?

I've shared how Substack footnotes work with two Newbies. Both individuals appreciated being told about the feature instead of discovering it on their own months down the road, as I did. And I appreciate the input other genealogists have given me as I've been working to make my own footnotes more reader-friendly. And where did I meet these people? Through Mission Genealogy!

There’s no need to queue the “Mission Impossible Theme” 🎶 but your post IS music to my ears.

Your volunteer efforts with MISSION GENEALOGY supports genealogy researchers and family history writers on SubStack.

Adding the term “Clubhouse” to the MG space so rightly conjures up visions of the camaraderie that develops when like-minded folks gather for fun conversations with the goal, in our case, to demystify the Substack technology.

We gather to learn how technology can help us share the fruits of our genealogical research and the stories of our ancestors.

Gosh, Myrt, that's downright inspiring. Sometimes it's hard to know how a statement, positioning, or sentiment might land. Yes, that's exactly what I was going for. I feel so much gratitude to all of you and am now inspired by what's ahead.

There's so much we can do for each other and together as well... a clubhouse to welcome the influx of genealogists, family historians, and aspiring family storytellers. 🥹
